Dwayne Baker
Dwayne began his insurance career with New York Life in 1994 and joined Capitol City Insurance in 1997. He became the President of Insurance Operations in 2005 and then acquired the agency in 2010.
Dwayne has also served on the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin Board of Directors and is a member of the Texas Association of Builders. Dwayne is a board member of Young Men's Business League. He is also president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Austin (IIAA).

Deryl Abbe
Deryl joined Capitol City Insurance and its subsidiary, The Insurance Store, in 2000.
He specializes in insuring contractors and those in the building trades, such as electricians, plumbers, roofers, and framers. Deryl is also involved in insuring those in the dry cleaning industry.
He enjoys spending time with his family, and working with Bell County 4H, Mid Tex Quarter Horse Association, Martha's Kitchen & Shelter of Texas, Bell County Society of Crippled Children and church activities.

Carol Baker
Carol is the Public Relations Director for Capitol City Insurance Agency. She has been with the agency since 2003.
Carol serves on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, the Texas Association of Builders, and the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association.
She specializes as an association liaison in the construction and recreational vehicle industries.

Tim Gilmore
Tim has been part of the Capitol City sales team since 1993.
He specializes in bulk fuel and propane distributors and is an active member of the Texas Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (TPCA).
Tim serves the entire State of Texas and is a great asset to your fuel or propane business insurance needs.

Joe Morales
Joe leads the Capitol City Insurance Health Benefits team in advising individuals and human resource departments in choosing the best insurance to suit their needs while developing superior client relationships.
Joe has been a successful member of the Capitol City Insurance team since 2003. He is a member of a number of associations including the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin, the Texas Association of Builders, the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association and the Texas Association of Health Underwriters.

John Paul Novak, CLCS
John Paul joined Capitol City Insurance in 2011 as a commercial insurance agent.
He holds a BBA from the University of Texas with a minor in Spanish. John Paul brings experience and relationships from the liquor and wine distribution industry where he worked as a sales representative and the oil and gas industry where he worked as a petroleum landman.
John Paul focuses on small business insurance, restaurant & bar insurance, and multi-family housing insurance.
He is a member of the Texas Restaurant Association and active in the Young Men's Business League of Austin, TX. John Paul earned his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.

Mark Rolland, CIC
Mark joined Capitol City Insurance as a commercial insurance specialist in 2011. He attended the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. Mark began his property and casualty insurance career in 1973 and earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1983.
Mark co-owned an agency in Wisconsin as well as served as a Senior Vice President for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, the nation's top source for insurance agent education.
He served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin as well as the Austin Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He is active in the building industry and serves as an industry spokesman.
Mark is an avid sports fan, a supporter of the Austin music scene and loves traveling.

Dan joined Capitol City Insurance Agency in 1992 and has enjoyed a distinguished career in the Austin area insurance industry.
He earned his designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and is a licensed Risk Manager. Dan is also a past president of the Professional Insurance Agents Association.
He specializes in all areas of commercial property and casualty insurance.

JD has been with Capitol City Insurance Agency since 2003.

Danny Swafford
Danny joined the team at Capitol City Insurance and its subsidiary, The Insurance Store, in 2004.
Danny holds a BBA from Baylor University and attended the Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He is a Texas Real Estate Broker and a member of the Austin Board of REALTORS®. Danny specializes in small business planning, recreational vehicle dealerships, restaurants, licensed trade contractors, commercial site preparation and excavation, general contractors, and home builders.

Dena is the receptionist for Capitol City Insurance. When she joined the agency in 2005, she specialized in personal lines. She worked as a receptionist in the Austin area for 22 years before joining the Capitol City Insurance team.

Susan has been in the insurance industry since 2006 focusing on commercial casualty insurance. She earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and is licensed in property and casualty insurance.

Sheila is the office manager for Capitol City Insurance. She has been with the agency since March of 1981.

Elsie Parrish
Elsie joined the team at Capitol City Insurance and its subsidiary, The Insurance Store, in 1999. She is a commercial account manager for Deryl Abbe in the Georgetown office.
Elsie's insurance experience began as a claims processor for an insurance adjusting firm and as an application processor for a life and health insurance company. In 1977 she began working for an independent insurance agency.
